Investigations of boron pollution at the Institute for Soil Sciences
Based on previous research examining the effects of irrigation water with a high boron content, researchers of Institute for Soil Sciences participated in writing a review paper on boron in collaboration with Nanthi Bolan, professor at The University of Western Australia (Perth). The paper provides information on the potential boron pollution, the fate, transformation and role of boron in plant metabolism, as well as the options for mitigating boron pollution.
