The field programme of the 'International Soil Moisture School - Europe', organised by BME and NASA researchers, is currently underway at the Institute for Soil Sciences. Our colleagues are supporting the event by field measurements demonstrations.
Between 14 and 17 July 2024, the International Soil Moisture School - Europe will bring together twelve senior scientists and engineers for lectures, computer exercises and field measurements to an audience of PhD students and young researchers from 10 countries. The main topic of the presentations will be satellite measurements of soil moisture, which can be an essential data source for agricultural, hydrological and slope stability studies.
