Winning OTKA proposals led by researchers of the Institute for Soil Sciences

Two proposals led by researchers of the Institute for Soil Sciences have won the support of the 'OTKA' young researchers’ excellence programme (FK_23): Veronika Gergócs: "How does soil food-web influence nutrient cycling after returning crop residues to agricultural fields?", and Gábor Szatmári: "Digital mapping and assessment of soil functions and services using advanced statistical approaches".

The ‘OTKA’ young researchers’ excellence programme (FK_23) is a call for proposals for researchers with an academic degree not older than twelve years, which gives young researchers the opportunity to launch independent research in Hungary by establishing their own research group.

The list of supported applications can be found at nkfih.gov.hu.
